Getaway Blake Brook Cabins

We stayed at Getaway in NH in the end of August 2022. The staff are so kind and friendly, and responsible. When we arrived earlier than the check-in 3pm, they immediately prepared the place and provided the cabin for us. The cabin inside is extremely clean and well-organized, and the campground is no mess at all. There is the most fabulous and luxury getaway with "pet-allowed" that I have ever seen. I definitely highly recommend to you all that there is a 5+ star getaway!!

Wonderful! Warm and cozy, sufficient equipment, nice environment 👍🏻 The most important thing, I lost my memorable necklace there and realized it after a few days and contacted them. They found it and will ship it back to me. Really thank you for the staff who found the necklace and tell the management, wishing he/she will have a very great life for being kind. This is my first time to stay with Getaway, and I thought it would be a pity that this lost necklace would be a bad memory, but it turns out a thankful thing. Thank you, and it is highly appreciated 🙏🏻 I hope it can open more nearer locations for Boston.

The tiny-houses were very clean and user-friendly, with all the amenities one would need to feel like they are at home while being away, including but not limited to: an electric stove, bathroom/shower, hot running water, air conditioning, mini-fridge, pots/pans/utensils and even coffee. The spacing between cabins were adequate, it didn't feel like we were stacked on top of each other and had our own private space. At our particular spot cell service was almost non-existent, which for some may be difficult but was right up my ally, being able to put away this infernal electronic handcuff and was further reinforced by the cell-phone stowaway box provided. They were extremely accommodating with our circumstances, as we were there for a concert and wouldn't be coming back until late, which we able to easily communicate with the staff and they obliged. Also having the ability to bring our 2 fur-babies with us was paramount and was provided with extra bowls, some dog treats and a little note that made it all the more special. Of course 3 hours after we left and upon arriving home, I realized that I had forgot something and thought it may be lost forever... Nope! One quick email and a couple days later my item arrived back to me and to say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. I would highly reccomend Getaway to anyone looking for this style of accommodation, you really couldn't ask for more!

Awesome time at the getaway Blake Brook! We had a great time, very cool location, we were in Thao and our family was next to us in June and were by a beautiful creek. Our boys (ages 5,6,7) had so much fun and really enjoyed the nature around them and it is definitely a core memory for them! A few things for Getaway folks to consider: -The bathroom door is extremely tight. I think a pocket door would make more sense as it really is a pain getting in and out. - The built-in table and bench is a cool idea and space-saving, however it can be dangerous if you miss a step. Cant wait to book our next trip in the Catskills!

Absolutely beautiful. Especially during the winter months. It’s very peaceful. It’s a great place to recharge from the madness of everyday life. The cabins have everything you could need for a couple day stay. They provided a small bag with pasta and the ingredients to make a meal. They had pots and a tea kettle. They even had a s’mores kit that could be used at the fire pit. The showers are surprisingly spacious and have great pressure and temperature. Many great photo opportunities and yes there are blinds for privacy on the large windows. Highly recommend.

I loved being off the grid and truly felt like I was nestled in the woods. Hearing the brook flow close by was so therapeutic ! Getaway takes the best of camping life and the convenience of a bnb to make your trip fulfilling. I definitely want to go back to experience fall and winter in these cabins. I just found one thing amiss - there was no sink in the bathroom, so brushing/hand washing was challenging.

The cabin was nice (very small but cute). The location of our cabin was in the middle surrounded by many other cabins and people, I wish they charged less for these cabins that don’t have much privacy. The service on site was good, we had some mold scent in the cabin and they quickly cleaned it up. A major issue we had is that after the stay they charge us for provisions for things that were in the cabin that we didn’t know that cost extra, like they put bug off wipes there and charged us for it afterwards, and they also do charge for the firewood and fire starter (maybe it says on the website but it wasn’t clear in the cabin itself and would be nice to at least know what’s complementary and how much we would pay for additional items).
